EDCO Station – La Mesa

EDCO Station La MesaEDCO Station provides a clean, reasonable-cost alternative to the landfill.

Why drive out of your way to a landfill? EDCO Station offers covered concrete floor space for comfortable, all-weather disposal. Additionally, we offer a public scale for anyone needing a Weighmaster Certificate.

Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, Cash, or check.

Bulky TrashPlus, EDCO Station’s Recycling Buyback Center will buy back your recyclable items such as CRV plastics, cans, bottles, etc.

Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.*
Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.*Open All Holidays (with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day: Closed)
*Transfer station is subject to early closure on high-volume days.
Buyback Recycling Center Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

Closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

The facility is located in La Mesa’s industrial loop a short distance west of Dixieline. Enter next to Up & Down Garage Doors.

From I-8 eastbound

  • Take the SPRING ST. exit towards DOWNTOWN.
  • Keep LEFT at the first fork in the ramp.
  • Keep LEFT at the second fork in the ramp.
  • Keep RIGHT at the third fork in the ramp.
  • Turn RIGHT onto CENTER ST.
  • Turn LEFT onto COMMERCIAL ST.
 From I-8 westbound

  • Take the EL CAJON BLVD. exit.
  • Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
  • Turn RIGHT onto CENTER ST.
